Steve’s Testimony
Most of you know me as Angie's husband who just turned up on occasions to pick her up and just stood at the side not really showing much interest. However the day before the ordination service of Angie and others, our son William had to have 5 teeth removed. He was in a lot of pain due to this and he didn’t want to be left. On the day of the service I asked him if Someone else could look after him but he wanted one of us to stay with him, not somebody he didn’t know very well So I said I would stay with him that day so that Angie could go to her ordination service. During the service Malcolm Sim said when Angie returned home and William would be ok and he’d running around. Within half an hour of Angie leaving Williams friends turned up and convinced him to go out. So it would have been possible for me to come, the only problem was William didn’t have a door key so I still couldn’t leave him. So when on the evening Angie returned home I found out all the details of what had happened during the day, I was upset that I hadn’t/couldn’t of been there to support Angie. During the night I struggled with the upsetment of not been there and I had a week of struggling to come to terms with this. On the Friday after the service I heard a voice in my sub-conscience tell me to choose. Carry on as you are or make the decision to accept Jesus into my life. On the Friday morning I text Pastor Alfred and asked if I could speak to him. He rang me back later that day and we had a conversation about accepting Jesus into my life and arranging with him and Pastor Alex to stand at Pastor Angie's side and be introduced together to make up to her the fact I couldn’t be there the previous week. On the Saturday evening we arranged this between us still not telling Pastor Angie, I ask Pastors Alex and Alfred if they would also bless our marriage and arrange for the renewal of our wedding vows at a later date. We then brought Pastor Angie in to the room and told her what I was there for to arrange to accept Jesus and to stand at her side. But we didn’t tell her about the blessing this was to be a surprise on the day. Accepting Jesus into my life made Pastor Angie really happy that I had made this decision. On Sunday I stood and accept Jesus into my life and after that Pastor Alex asked Pastor Angie to come up and we stood together at that point I turn to Pastor Angie and said that I had asked Pastor Alex and Alfred to bless marriage blessed and we would bring our marriage to the altar and before God at a later date. Since that day I have received healing for my knees and my eyes and ears and heart have been opened to many things She will be always just Angie my wife and the mother of our son William to me but she is now a Pastor of OHC but she is also the Pastor of our home.
